YES! We bought legit snorkely gear while in Cozumel on our honeymoon and we snorkel all over the place. Now granted, we just see trout, bass, etc, but it's still cool. We live within walking distance of the Greenbrier River and we take are snorkel gear down to the river all of the time. We really love snorkeling at Blue Bend, the best swimming hole in the state:
